FROM THE DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT

It is my pleasure to announce to you that Rev. David Mathews has been appointed as pastor at Waterloo UMC effective July 1, 2008. Your Pastor Parish Relations Committee met with David and his wife, Brenda, and discerned that this is an appointment that God will love to bless. David and Brenda have two girls. He has been serving at Woodburn UMC and previously served in the Muncie area. As you honor Pastor Rex and his family’s time with you, please also begin to prepare your hearts and church for the arrival of the Mathews family.
